A highlight is Marina Rubicon, celebrated for its dynamic mix of cafes, bars, eateries, and boutiques, featuring a new shopping center as well. Notably, a popular market is held here twice a week.

Among the region's beaches, Playa Dorada and Playa Flamingo stand out for their immaculate white sands and convenient access to nearby resort facilities. Yet, the true gem is undoubtedly the Papagayo beaches. This stunning collection of white sandy coves, bordered by crystal-clear waters, enchants every visitor. While they can be reached on foot or by bike, driving is recommended for added convenience due to the considerable distance. Just a heads up, there is a €3 car toll for access to this protected nature reserve.
